Production functions
•First, the slotted structure aligns bolt pin holes for cotter pin installation, preventing nuts from rotating loose under vibration and impact. It delivers higher reliability than thread locker and spring washers, and allows straightforward visual inspection of anti-loosening conditions during maintenance.
• Second, fine threads feature a smaller pitch with more engaged thread teeth, offering a large contact area and uniform load distribution. They resist thread stripping, enable precise fine-tuning of preload force, fit thin housings and soft alloy components, and reduce the risk of thread tearing.
• Meanwhile, the hexagonal outer shape matches standard sockets for easy assembly and disassembly. Key Production Points and Quality Control
• The coaxiality tolerance between the slot position and the bolt hole shall be ≤ 0.1mm, and the slot width tolerance shall be ± 0.1mm to avoid cotter pin jamming or loosening.
• After heat treatment, the decarburization layer shall be controlled within ≤ 0.01d to prevent the reduction of thread strength.
• After surface treatment, the salt spray test duration shall be ≥ 48 hours (for galvanized passivation) to ensure corrosion resistance.
