When are bolts used?
Jan 07, 2026
Bolts, as critical fasteners, are widely used in three core scenarios:
1. Construction: Used for fixing high-load structures such as bridges and tower cranes, requiring high-strength bolts (e.g., grade 8.8 or 10.9) to withstand dynamic loads and ensure seismic and wind resistance;
2. Machinery: Connecting equipment components, requiring high precision (e.g., M6-M24 specifications) and good anti-loosening performance to ensure long-term stable operation of equipment;
3. Automotive: Key components such as engines and chassis require ultra-high-strength bolts of grade 12.9 with a tensile strength exceeding 1200MPa to withstand continuous vibration.
During installation, torque values must be strictly matched (e.g., within the range of 30-50 N·m), and regular maintenance is necessary to prevent fatigue failure.
Our company provides customized bolts for all scenarios in construction, machinery, and automotive, supporting parameter selection such as materials (e.g., 304 stainless steel) and plating (Dacro) etc. Our technical team can assist in selecting the right solution.
