Basic introduction to bolts
Jan 01, 2026
Bolts are used to fasten two parts with through holes. This type of connection is called a bolted connection. Since the two parts can be separated by unscrewing the nut, a bolted connection is a detachable connection. Anchors are a type of bolted connection where only the nut is detachable after assembly; the threaded part is fixed to the concrete substrate in some way and cannot be separated.
A bolt (anchor) is a fastener consisting of a head and a threaded part, mainly used in machinery manufacturing, construction engineering, and other fields. Its core function is to connect and fix parts with through holes by mating with a nut, and to anchor the connected parts to a concrete substrate.
