Product Overview
GB/T 3632-2008 covers sets of torshear type high strength bolt, hexagon nut and plain washer for steel structures. Performance grade: 10.9S. Thread sizes: M16, M20, M22, M24, M27, M30.
This friction-type bolt connection transfers load by friction between steel faying surfaces. The slip coefficient is determined by plate surface preparation: sandblasted surface normally achieves slip coefficient ≥0.45.
The bolt features a torsional shear tail (梅花头). When tightened by special electric wrench, the tail breaks off automatically once the required pre-tension force is reached. Visual inspection is straightforward after installation.
The torque coefficient of the bolt connection 副 shall be 0.110~0.150, standard deviation ≤0.010.
Widely used for steel buildings, steel bridges, towers and heavy mechanical steel frames. Surface options: black finish, hot-dip galvanized, zinc-nickel coating, Dacromet, Geomet etc.
Core Feature
The tail of the torque-shear bolt has a hex head (shear groove), which is tightened with a special electric wrench for construction. When the specified pre-tension is reached, the hex tail is directly sheared off, thereby determining that the final tightening is in place; the pre-tension control is stable, and the on-site inspection is simple.

Maintenance
